Interior design work on the coffee area(above) and the restaurant (right)of this large hotel. Both spaces were part of the public ground floor concourse so had to both be robust in detail but still give the right atmosphere for the hotel. Although designed to compliment each other the two spaces were given separate identities with contrasting atmospheres. The coffee area was designed to be a relaxed informal space, in which guest and the public could wait and enjoy the delights of the area and the hotel. The restaurant is intended to be a more intimate space with a hint of Chinese dining in the design of the wall features and fabric design.
